Flight Vehicle

The Center of the System

Flight Vehicle is given the incredible task of bringing this all together. The ultimate system engineering challenge, the team has been focusing on sizing the rocket, planning out the plumbing, and desiging the control surfaces.

Control Surfaces are necessary to avoid excessive roll effecting the fluid system. The team currently plans to use canards to solve this problem and is developing a series of tests on smaller hobby rockets to check for accurate control.
